President Trump has signed an executive order aimed at reducing the US defense sector's dependence on critical minerals sourced from China. The move follows a separate measure approved by the House of Representatives banning the military from using Chinese-made humanoid robots. U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer noted that the current flow of these minerals from China is lower than desired.
