Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India reported its best-ever first-quarter retail sales, selling 1,665 vehicles in Q1FY27, an 11% year-on-year increase. The performance was driven by strong demand for its luxury SUVs, with the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, and Defender models accounting for over 85% of sales. The company said customer enquiries for its high-end SV range have surged following price cuts of up to ₹75 lakh, made possible by the new India-UK free trade agreement.
