E2W penetration hit a record 11.2% in July, with sales volume jumping 88.3% year-on-year to 204,000 units, driven by volatile fuel prices. Major OEMs like TVS Motor and Bajaj Auto saw sales rise over 120% and are now being urged by dealer associations to ramp up production ahead of the festival season.
