Indian customs authority launches special drive to clear port container congestion

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has initiated a high-priority campaign to clear long-standing cargo from major Indian ports by October 31. The drive targets unclaimed, uncleared, and seized containers to alleviate congestion, reduce logistics costs, and improve container availability for exporters.
