Arunachal Frontier Highway project on track for 2029 completion after delays

The strategic 1,824-km Arunachal Frontier Highway (NH 913) project is now on course for a 2029 completion after the central government resolved key hurdles. A major bottleneck, the 125-km Lada to Sarli highway alignment, has been cleared following central intervention to resolve land acquisition and compensation issues. The project is critical for enabling rapid movement of defence forces along the McMahon Line.
