SPORE — Singapore's National Day celebrations to expand into Kallang precinct

Celebrations for Singapore's 61st National Day will extend beyond the National Stadium, with a host of activities planned for the surrounding Kallang area on parade rehearsal days and on August 9. Festivities will include live music, exhibitions, and light installations. For the first time, the traditional state flag fly-past and Presidential Gun Salute will take place over the Kallang Basin, making them visible to more people in the precinct.
