JORDAN'S KING ABDULLAH STRESSES NATIONAL STABILITY, ECONOMIC FOCUS IN MA'AN VISIT

During a visit to Ma'an governorate, Jordan's King Abdullah II affirmed that protecting the nation's stability is the top priority, stating the armed forces will counter any aggression. He directed the government to prioritize infrastructure and services development in the southern region and announced upcoming international visits to open new markets for Jordanian products. Prime Minister Jafar Hassan confirmed progress on the Aqaba-Ma'an land port project and new healthcare facilities, including the Ma'an Military Hospital, which is expected to be operational next year.
