Lego has introduced "Smart Play," a new line of building sets featuring rechargeable bricks with embedded microprocessors, motion sensors, and sound effects. The technology, which uses near-field communication (NFC) to interact with other tagged pieces, is featured in new Star Wars sets and an upcoming Pokémon line.
