INDIA — INDIA TO SOURCE UP TO 25% OF LPG IMPORTS FROM US IN 2027 TO CUT MIDDLE EAST RELIANCE

India plans to import up to a quarter of its liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from the United States in 2027, a strategic move to diversify its energy sources away from the Middle East. The shift comes after supplies were disrupted by the recent conflict in Iran and aims to support a potential trade deal with Washington. State-owned refiners are expected to issue tenders for US LPG supplies within the next two months.
