TATAPOWER — Tata Power Q1 net profit grows 11% to ₹1,400 Cr; plans ₹40,000 Cr capex

Tata Power posted an 11% year-on-year rise in its first-quarter net profit to ₹1,400 crore, while revenue increased 5.6% to ₹19,439 crore. The company announced a planned capital expenditure of ₹40,000 crore for its transmission business by 2030. Additionally, Tata Power is in advanced discussions with the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) for setting up nuclear reactors, with land being finalized in Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Gujarat.
