JORDAN ADVANCES IN KEY INT'L INDICES, INCLUDING GENDER GAP, SAYS GOV'T REPORT

Jordan has made tangible progress in improving its ranking in key international indices, according to the first-half 2026 report for the Economic Modernization Vision. The report highlighted advances in the World Bank's 'Women, Business and the Law' index, where Jordan's score rose to 52.5 on legal frameworks and 68.55 on supportive frameworks. The country was also ranked among the top six global reformers for the period between October 2023 and October 2025.
