Bharti Airtel outpaced its rivals in mobile subscriber growth in June 2026, adding 2.99 million new wireless users. Competitor Reliance Jio added 2.15 million users, while Vodafone Idea saw a net addition of 163,757. India's total telecom subscriber base grew to 1.348 billion during the month.
