AMMAN BOURSE SEES FOREIGN OWNERSHIP HIT 46.1% AS MARKET CAP RISES 8.8% YTD

Foreign investment in the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) has strengthened, with non-Jordanian ownership reaching 46.1% of total market capitalization by the end of July 2026. The market cap grew by 8.8% since the start of the year to approximately 28.8 billion JOD. The ASE General Index also saw a significant 16% rise to 4012.6 points, while average daily trading volume increased to 13.6 million JOD from 8.8 million JOD in the same period last year.
