Climate — KUWAIT RAMPS UP MANGROVE RESTORATION EFFORTS FOR COASTAL PROTECTION

Kuwait is intensifying efforts to restore its mangrove ecosystems as a key part of its national strategy to mitigate climate change and protect its coastlines. The Environment Public Authority highlighted progress in planting mangrove seedlings, particularly in the Jahra Reserve. These efforts align with Kuwait's commitment to the Mangrove Alliance for Climate, which includes a goal to plant thousands of seedlings by 2035.
