Kuwait has completed the second phase of its plan to replace expatriate judicial staff with Kuwaiti nationals, terminating the secondment of 82 non-Kuwaiti members. The move will raise the Kuwaitization rate within the judiciary to 87% by September 30, 2026. The government aims to achieve a 100% Kuwaiti judiciary by October 1, 2030, as part of a broader nationalization policy.
