ONGC VIDESH SEEKS OPERATORSHIP OF VENEZUELAN OIL PROJECTS

ONGC Videsh Ltd (OVL), the overseas arm of India's state-run oil and gas corporation, is pursuing operatorship of two oil projects in Venezuela. The move signals India's intent to deepen its engagement in the Latin American nation's energy sector. Securing control of the projects would allow OVL to have a more direct role in production and management.
