EGYPT — EGYPTIAN PRESIDENT DIRECTS DEVELOPMENT OF STATE MEDIA, DIGITIZATION OF MASPERO ARCHIVES

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has instructed the government to accelerate the development of state and private media, emphasizing the need to digitize the extensive archives of the Maspero Radio and Television Union. The initiative aims to preserve nearly one million audio and visual tapes, totaling approximately 800,000 hours of content, and make the historical material accessible to the public through modern platforms.
