Bilt cardholders hit with erroneous collections notices, damaging credit scores

Bilt, the rewards-for-rent credit card company, is addressing another service issue after approximately 1,850 cardholders received incorrect collections notices that negatively impacted their credit scores. The company attributed the problem to a reporting error by a third-party collections agency affecting an early version of its card. Bilt said it is correcting the errors and will deposit 2,500 rewards points into affected customer accounts.
