The French Football Federation has officially appointed Zinedine Zidane as the new head coach of the men's national team, succeeding Didier Deschamps. The 54-year-old World Cup winner signed a four-year contract that will run until the 2030 World Cup. Zidane, who has been without a coaching role since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, stated the France job was the only one he wanted.
