ERI — SAUDI ARABIA TO BUILD FIRST ENERGY RECOVERY DEVICE FACTORY OUTSIDE US

The Saudi Water Authority announced the localization of energy recovery device manufacturing through a new factory, the first of its kind outside the United States. The plant, being built by Energy Recovery Inc., will support the Kingdom's desalination industry, with production slated to begin in Q1 2027. With an annual capacity of 2,000 units, the facility will meet local demand and export 40% of its output to markets in the GCC, Africa, and Asia.
