Draft Rules for India's SIIANTI Semiconductor Act Ready; Stakeholder Talks Underway

The Indian government has prepared the first draft of rules for the Semiconductor and Integrated Electronics Manufacturing and Technology (SIIANTI) Act. Consultations with stakeholders are currently in progress. A final notification of the rules, which are critical for India's ambitions to become a semiconductor hub, is expected within a few months.
