HUDCO — Hudco expands into infra, partners with states on rental housing projects

Housing and Urban Development Corp. (Hudco) is diversifying its lending portfolio, partnering with the governments of Maharashtra and Odisha to finance rental housing in industrial corridors. The state-run financier is also targeting urban infrastructure, with its water supply and treatment project loans reaching ₹16,507.94 crore. Hudco's total loan book hit ₹1.73 trillion in Q1, with the company aiming for ₹2 trillion by the end of FY27 while targeting zero non-performing assets.
