GAZA — ISRAEL EXPANDS GAZA BUFFER ZONE, DISPLACING FAMILIES IN DEIR AL-BALAH AND ZAYTOUN

The Israeli military is actively expanding its buffer zone, known as the "Yellow Line," inside the Gaza Strip, annexing more territory and displacing Palestinian families. In Deir al-Balah, the line was reportedly pushed 300-350 meters further west, while in Gaza City's Zaytoun neighborhood, new evacuation orders have forced over 30 families to flee. According to the UN, restricted-access areas now cover nearly 65% of the Gaza Strip as of June 2026.
