India's Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew by 7.3% in June, marking a 23-month high, according to data from the National Statistics Office. The growth accelerated from a downwardly revised 5% in May, driven by a favorable base effect and broad-based expansion across all major sectors. Manufacturing output saw the sharpest improvement, rising to 7.8% from 5.2% in the previous month.
