Amazon launches generative AI-powered Alexa+ in India

Amazon has introduced Alexa+, its generative AI-enhanced voice assistant, to the Indian market more than a year after its U.S. debut. The upgraded assistant, available at no cost under an early access program, can understand natural conversation in English, Hindi, and 'Hinglish'. Built on the Amazon Bedrock platform, Alexa+ connects to over 70 large language models to provide more conversational and context-aware responses.
