EXIDEIND — Exide, Amara Raja eye final 10 GWh tender under India's battery PLI scheme

Major battery manufacturers including Exide Industries, Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, and Waaree Group are potential bidders for the final 10 GWh grid-scale energy storage tender under India's production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme. The tender is part of the government's ₹18,100-crore initiative for advanced chemical cell (ACC) manufacturing. A pre-bid conference held on July 29 attracted 29 prospective bidders, signaling strong industry interest in the final tranche of the scheme.
