Healthcare|Construction|Government — UTTARAKHAND NEARS COMPLETION OF AIIMS SATELLITE CENTRE, BUILDS NEW MEDICAL COLLEGES

Construction of the AIIMS satellite centre in Kichha, Uttarakhand, is now 85% complete, with the facility set to include a 250-bed hospital and 30 ICU beds. The state is also pursuing a goal of establishing a medical college in every district, with five currently operational and two more under construction. A new Child and Mother Care Hospital has also become operational in Haridwar, expanding regional healthcare capacity.
