KUWAIT — KUWAITI JUSTICE MINISTRY MODERNIZES NOTARIZATION WITH NEW E-SYSTEM

Kuwait's Minister of Justice has issued new executive regulations for the country's Notarization Law, introducing a comprehensive electronic system and the role of a private notary. The update aims to streamline notarization processes by allowing some transactions to be completed via video call and others through a fully automated system using the 'Hawiati' digital ID application. The new regulations also standardize power of attorney forms and set a default five-year validity period for most notarized agencies.
