Trade — KUWAIT AND QATAR SIGN MOU TO ENHANCE COMPETITION, COMBAT MONOPOLIES

The governments of Kuwait and Qatar have signed a memorandum of understanding to bolster cooperation in the field of competition protection. The four-year agreement aims to combat monopolistic practices by facilitating the exchange of information, expertise, and best practices in enforcing competition laws. The MoU covers mutual support in investigations, reviewing economic concentration requests, and coordinating on international competition-related activities.
