Healthcare — UK PHARMACISTS WARN OF MENINGITIS B VACCINE SHORTAGE AHEAD OF NHS CAMPAIGN

Pharmacists in the UK are warning of a shortage of the meningitis B (MenB) vaccine just as a new NHS vaccination program is set to begin. The National Pharmacy Association reports that some of its members do not have enough stock to fulfill appointments for the campaign, which targets about one million students. The one-off program was launched in response to outbreaks that killed two teenagers earlier this year.
