TATASONS — Tata Sons FY26 consolidated profit slumps 36% to 5-year low on unlisted unit losses
BearishFinance|Industrial
Tata Sons' consolidated net profit for FY26 fell 35.7% year-on-year to ₹17,923.4 crore, a five-year low, despite a 16.8% rise in revenue to ₹6.49 trillion. The decline was primarily driven by mounting losses at unlisted subsidiaries, including Air India, whose net loss more than doubled to ₹22,238 crore. In contrast, the holding company's standalone profit grew 21.8% to ₹31,952 crore, buoyed by gains from the Tata Capital IPO and higher dividend income.
