SINGAPOREAIR — Singapore Airlines posts first quarterly loss since 2022 on Air India drag, fuel costs

Singapore Airlines (SIA) reported a net loss of S$76 million ($58.79 million) for the quarter ended June 30, its first quarterly loss since 2022. The loss came despite record quarterly revenue of S$5.71 billion, up 19.3% year-on-year, as strong passenger demand was offset by losses from its associate Air India and higher jet fuel costs stemming from the West Asia conflict.
