MEW — Kuwait's MEW begins fiber optic network upgrade for main transformer stations

Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity & Water has commenced a project to lay new fiber optic cables connecting its main transformer stations. The initiative is part of the national development plan to upgrade the power grid's communication and control infrastructure. The ministry has assured that the associated excavation work, scheduled from July 26 to August 1, will not disrupt electricity services to consumers.
