India to finalize trade agreement with Southern African Customs Union this week

India is poised to conclude a trade pact with the Southern African Customs Union (SACU), which includes South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, and Eswatini. The agreement, aimed at boosting economic ties, is expected to be finalized this week. Bilateral trade between India and South Africa alone stood at $52.8 billion.
