NTPC — NTPC pivots to renewables, now adding more green capacity than coal

State-run power giant NTPC Ltd is now expanding its renewable energy (RE) portfolio at a faster pace than its traditional coal-based capacity. The company is targeting the addition of 3-4 GW of RE capacity annually over the next few years. This strategic shift is part of its long-term goal to achieve 60 GW of renewable capacity by 2032.
