F1 — Malaysia's Sepang circuit emerges as potential F1 replacement for Bahrain GP
BullishConsumer|Geopolitics
The Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia is being considered to host a Formula One race in 2026, potentially replacing the cancelled Bahrain Grand Prix. The Malaysian GP, last held in 2017, could fill a slot between the Baku and Singapore races in the autumn. The calendar changes are being evaluated after the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian races were called off due to regional conflict.
