GCC — GCC MINISTERS CALL FOR DIPLOMACY, FREEDOM OF NAVIGATION IN STRAIT OF HORMUZ

Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held a virtual consultative meeting to discuss escalating regional tensions and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The ministers emphasized the importance of prioritizing political and diplomatic solutions to de-escalate the conflict and build trust. They called for intensifying coordination to ensure the rights of passage and the seamless flow of trade in accordance with international law.
